Report of Information Stand and Seminar of MeatEx in Meat Industry Exhibition (IFFA) – Frankfurt

MeatEx, the international specialized exhibition of meat products and related industries, will take place from 5 to 8 November 2016 in the Tehran Permanent International Exhibition Center, planned by Tejarat Farasoo Holding.

This exhibition is being organized in cooperation with IFFA, the world’s leading trade fair for the meat industry.

The MeatEx Info Booth was held during IFFA to inform exhibitors and visitors about the show.

A poll showed that both exhibitors and visitors from various countries gave an extremely positive interest in participating in MeatEx.

Mostly machinery brands and ingredient producers are interested in participating in the Fair as it is the only specialized meat industry fair in the Middle East.

On the fifth day of IFFA, 11 May 2016, the Iran Meat Industry and Investment Opportunities Seminar was held in Hall 9.1, Esprite Room, by the organizer of MeatEx.

The Seminar began with a welcome from Mr. Wolfgang Marzin, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Messe Frankfurt, followed by brief information about the show given by Mr. Hormoz Mehbod, Managing Director of Tejarat Farasoo Holding.

The latest information regarding the meat industry in Iran was presented by Dr. Aflaki, Secretary of the Iranian Society of Meat Products Producers, and at the conclusion, the Iran International Meat Exhibition was introduced by Mrs. Sallya Habibollahi, the CEO of Tejarat Farasoo Holding.

There was a lot of interest expressed for MeatEx from different countries such as Italy, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Australia and China.

“We’re delighted that the MeatEx Info Booth and Seminar were such a success” said Ms. Sahar Niknejad, the show director of MeatEx as the Seminar concluded.  “But going beyond the record of requests for participation, there were a number of other aspects that were just as pleasing, such as the request from some associations which were seeking out opportunities for organizing workshops during the Show.”

Mr. Hormoz Mehbod, Managing Director of Tejarat Farasoo Holding, mentioned that “The extraordinary interest from various nationalities to participate in the Show in a pavilion structure or joint stands reflects the needs of the meat products and related industry in the region.  On the other hand, MeatEx hosts several high-ranking trade buyer delegations from numerous countries.”

Mr. Mehbod continued “MeatEx will provide exhibitors with direct access to the new frontier of the Middle East market, where large numbers of key decision-makers will source the latest products and innovations.  By building valuable contacts and networking opportunities, exhibitors can also learn of the latest trends impacting the growth of the potential market in Iran, which is unlike any other market in the world.”

He also added “To ease this achievement, the current focus of MeatEx is to organize various fringe programs and side events, including specialized workshops and seminars, to examine how to enter into the markets mentioned, consolidate status in them, and have a direct connection with consumers.  B2B meetings will be organized with relevant organizations at the time of the exhibition.”

MeatEx will deliver an unmatched platform for the world’s leading meat industry suppliers and manufacturers to establish long-lasting business relationships with buyers and distributors throughout Iran.
